THE HISTORY OF CLUB DRUGS

Some new drugs have become increasingly popular with adolescents and young adults, these days. Such drugs are better known as club drugs, which is a term derived from the rave craze. Raves are dance parties that happen all-night with loud pounding music, flashing lights and stimulating dancing vigorously.

Club drugs are a lightly termed category of recreational drugs, which are used at hip hop concerts, dance clubs, and parties.

These drugs are particularly connected with rave and techno music and are inclined to have stimulating and psychedelic attributes. Types of drugs usually grouped as club drugs are various amphetamines, Ecstasy, and less apparently suitable stuffs like Ketamine and GHB (which do not act as stimulants) but are often referred to as club drugs. The earlier mentioned selections of drugs are grouped as club drugs by the United States government and the media. Such distinction does not probably have a definite correlation to real usage modes.
