This drug is available in different forms like white powder, capsules, tablets and clear liquid. Very often, GHB users take this drug with alcohol, which makes it very dangerous. In fact, this drug has caused sexual assault, accidents, overdoses and poisonings. The teenagers and young adult in the raves and nightclubs mainly use GHB.

The abuse of this drug is because of its hormone-releasing properties or because of its euphoric, sedative or intoxicating properties.

This drug has the capacity to depress the central nervous system and the user will get intoxicated after 10-20 minutes of the drug use. Generally, the drug’s effects can carry on for four hours but it depends on the quantity of GHB taken. If the user takes GHB in excess then it can lead to slumber, coma or it can even take the life of the user.
The body discharges GHB quite fast (two hours roughly). Most of the time GHB incidents pass unrecognized, as there are no detection tests for this drug.
