    ALTERNATIVE CHILD SCHOOL

In today’s world, due to many external as well as emotional circumstances many adolescents experience psychological problems. These troubled adolescents face problems like behavorial troubles and substance abuse. Nowadays, many schools are available for troubled teenagers. One of these schools is the Specialty Boarding Schools.

The parents of these troubled teenagers believe that these Specialty Boarding schools are far better than the Alternative boarding schools.

Specialty Boarding Schools can be divided into different types. These are Therapeutic, Military and Christian boarding schools. However, no matter types these schools are they are well planned and have proper amenities to provide help to those who need supervision and face grave issues.

While the Christian schools utilize a philosophy based on christianism to take care of the troubled adolescents, the Military schools help those adolescents who just need discipline and do not face any grave issues. Since military schools are not capable to give the emotional support like love and care needed for serious cases, they do not admit any students with serious issues. Treatment programs and Therapeutic boarding schools are recommended for those with severe cases. Therapeutic boarding schools may cost more but since they use beneficial components like group therapy or individual therapy or sometimes both, they achieve much better results.

Military School              Reply to this Comment
There are a Few Military Schools in the United States that, not only give discipline and structure. But also provided the emotional support and care even for serious cases. Today more and more some military school are dealing with more emotional and therapeutic issues. Students do recieve theraputic counseling even in the military school setting. One school that handles this very well is St. John's Military School licated in Salina, Kansas.
