    ALTERNATIVE COUNSELING FOR TEEN

It becomes difficult for the troubled teens to go to school where the normal students go. For such teens, there are special boarding schools. Here the students are given special guidance and training to handle problems like depression, alcohol, drug abuse, teen suicide, stress, ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder), teen pregnancy, disabilities, obesity, eating disorders, violence, bullying and other problems, sometimes faced by the young people.  These boarding schools help the child in all possible ways to come out of the problem.

They hold a lot of workshops and counseling programs to help children come out of their, not so normal situation. Such troubled teens tend to feel that they are the only abnormal ones among the many normal children. These boarding schools come as a relief, giving them the mental strength to overcome their troubled situation and feel that there are many other teens suffering from such a problem. A little bit of effort on their side and proper counseling and support would help to them get back to normal. There are a lot of different kinds of boarding schools whose primary concern is to help the troubled teens.

The sessions at these boarding schools may last for a month and some may even continue for a year but it all depends on the requirement of the teen. Care is taken that the troubled teens are given the necessary attention.

Parents also have a lot of responsibility on their part too. Care should be taken while choosing the boarding school for your child. Unless the school atmosphere and the support system is a good one, there is very little hope regarding your child getting cured. Checking out the programs offered by the school is also very important.

i get angry at my boyfriend even when hes done nothing wrong, but i make him feel bad till he admits he was the one at fault, even though i kknow he wasn't. my parents fight all the time for years now and its not the normal way parents fight its bad. i always have to fake being strong in front of them like none of it fases me but it really affects me. i cry and hurt inside and i feel like i may be depressed... i attach myself to almost everyone or thing i meet and i cant stop. i'm emotional and sometimes i feel like i could be a little crazy. i want to talk to someone who can help me like a therapist but i think it would worry my parents and i dont have a long of money either... what can i do?
